Review:

My love for this book runs deep. Those of you who know me, know that I have an obsession with Alice in Wonderland. I have multiple copies of my own with varying covers and styles because I can’t help myself. I love the whimsy and madness that is Wonderland! So needless to say, anything that plays on that amazing mess of a story gets me right of the bat.

But, not all plays on Wonderland deliver. I am over joyed when I say that this one delivered!!

Into Wonderland mixes and melds multiple fairytales into one amazing story that starts in Neverland and builds from there. But first, can we please just take a moment to admire this beautiful cover? I love that bright red. Gorgeous!

Now onto the other important matter...

The Queen of Hearts has stolen Neverland from Peter and made it into a kingdom of terrible Wonders. As the Caterpillar says, “Oh Alice, it’s not how any of us imagined it ---- After all, each dark part of us seeps into the soil here, darkening the land and the queen…”. You can see how Wonderland may be in more trouble than our original author let on.

Upon arrival into Wonderland we stumble onto another fairy tale crossover, Alice meets Robin Hood. They end up having to work together to achieve what they came for, Alice in search of her sister Wendy and Robin in search of revenge.

During Alice and Robin’s time in Wonderland we meet all of our favorite Wonderlandians, the Cheshire cat, the White Rabbit, the Dormouse, and of course the Mad Hatter… who by the way has an fantastic back story, but I won’t ruin the surprise.
Things aren’t all fun and Tea Time though. Alice definitely finds what she’s looking for… but not all heroines get a happy ending.

This amazing retelling of Alice in Wonderland released TODAY! So don’t forget to check it out. It’s available for both paperback and Kindle, and is actually free right now on Kindle Unlimited. But, that won’t last long!

This is the third installment in the Haunting Fairytales Series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but you will definitely be wanting to read the first two when you’re done with this one. And you’re in luck! Because those are also currently free on Kindle Unlimited.
Loved it, Loved it, Loved it.
