Review: The Daughters of Maine

The Daughters of Maine

By: Tish Thawer

Synopsis:

Through space and time, sisters entwined. Lost then found, souls remain bound.

After being reunited in the present day, three sister witches are forced to separate once more in an effort to save their newly formed coven and themselves.

Foes from their past now threaten their future, and a trip that spans centuries is their only hope of survival. Chasing their enemy back through time seems like the right choice, but will walking in the footsteps of their previous lives provide the answer they seek?

Only time will tell.

A Witches of BlackBrook novel.

Review:

I absolutely loved this book! Tish really knocked it out of the park.

I fell in love with this series after I read the first book, The Witches of BlackBrook. I STRONGLY recommend reading the first book prior to reading The Daughters of Maine, to completely understand the story line.

The level of research Tish must have gone through in order to write this series had to be nothing less than amazing.

The Daughters of Maine has everything you’re looking for in a witchy novel. Salem, power, demons, spells, and of course multiple different types of magic.

Not only did these three sisters; Trin, Caris, and Kennedy, fuse their own magic together… you also get to witness the power of the underworld, the Native Americans, and TIME TRAVEL!

This book had me feeling so much. I was nervous, angry, sad, and overjoyed. It brought everything around full circle and kinda made ya want to kill a bitch.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this series like crazy. It is so well written. The characters are all fully developed with their own personalities and strengths, the descriptions put you right there beside them, and the timelines are amazingly accurate.

It doesn’t read like a book at all. This series is nothing short of a vivid hallucination that will have you believing you’re watching a sequel to the movie Practical Magic.

Seriously…I can honestly say I have never read a witchy story this great. Definitely on my top 5 of best reads of 2017.

It is available NOW! But, please… if you haven’t read The Witches of BlackBrook, it is a must in order for you to be on board with the goings on of The Daughters of Maine. So without further adieu… here are the purchase links for BOTH books.
