Shaking the lust from my mind, I decide to turn my focus to the inside of the barn now that I’ve finished the thankless task of clearing out weeds. I had pulled out some of the rubbish inside already but still have a lot of work to do. I pull one of the doors to the side, the gentle creaking sound washing over me in a wave of nostalgia. I make my way inside and step over dried leaves and debris, each step kicking up a layer of dust. I look ahead and broken slats of wood are on the ground; those must be part of the original roof that was destroyed. I survey the space and take in the old tanks where we used to make cider and the empty jugs, some whole and some broken, lining the walls on shelves covered in cobwebs. When I was a kid this barn was spotless and welcoming, the perfect place to make cider and welcome visitors. Now it looks like an old photograph and not the treasured memory it really is. I take a deep breath and the smells of dust and mold fill my nose instead of crisp apples and warm spices. It’s in this moment I make a promise to myself: I’m going to restore this barn to its former glory.

I pick my way across the worn and dirty hardwood and undo the latch on one of the windows. As soon as it swings open the sweet smell of flowers permeates the air and rays of sunshine filter in, the shafts of light instantly brightening up the room. I open the window on the other side and feel excited about the task at hand. This barn is a dirty penny and just needs to shine again.

Sarah has done some awesome work in the past so it’s no surprise that this book was great as well. Paranormal is my jam, and this one rocked it. Gotta love a great wolf tale. *wink* *wink*

It starts out like this creepy scene from a movie that makes you want to scream at the main character, Kelly, to “GO THE OTHER WAY!” and “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING!?” You just know she’s in deep. But then BOOM! The unthinkable happens and, if you’re a female reader, you’re filled with pride for this strong chick who can take on anything.

So basically, it really kicks off from the first few pages. I love books that get right to it. You get hooked and you never want to leave that world.

Then we meet Eric. Leader of the Pack, super alpha, can’t keep his eyes off of Kelly. Talk about love at first sight. Eric immediately has such a strong pull to Kelly. Just WOW. I love a man who knows what he wants.

But, Sarah didn’t write a typical Wolf romance. You know, wolf meets girl...he must have her…so duh he gets her. There was another twist. A Witchy twist. A Kelly twist. She’s not just a normal girl. Kelly can hold her own because she’s got some freaking awesome witch powers!

Did I mention that there’s ANOTHER twist? Kelly… well, I’ll let you figure that one out. Suffice it to say, it’s probably my favorite part.

    Allison's reserved , she struggles with letting someone into her life because in her experience that means letting someone else go. Allison has her best friend Steffi and thats all she needs, when shes had no one she's had Steffie but a social experiment she gets roped into turns her life upside down or maybe right side up.

    Esben is a social media star and for all the right reasons. He's out on mission to prove that people are good , his hashtags and social experiments are famous not only around campus but around the world.

   180 Seconds is all it took for Esben Baylor to stare into Allison Dennis's eyes and for all her walls to come crashing down. #thiskissthiskiss changed everything !

   I often get asked to read books and to leave a review but this wasn't the case. I wanted to pick something up for fun and when I stumbled upon the cover of Jessica Parker's 180 Seconds I was intrigued . The cover was simple but beautiful ( I needed a break from the typical half naked man covers) so I dived in knowing nothing of the story and often took small breaks to smile or cry.  I loved the connection between the characters  and to watch Allison's growth was truly beautiful, sometimes we just need to find the right person to make us feel safe and I truly believe she found it with Esben.  If you're a fan of those feel good stories everyone likes to share on facebook then you're gonna fall head over heels in love with 180 Seconds.

This is my first book by Holly that I’ve read. It was so good!! Just the type of read I needed.

Holly created two worlds that collided perfectly even though they refused to accept each other at first.

Parker being the spoiled rich guy. Never any consequences. Never caring about what he does or who he does it with. And just never caring about anyone else period. But he gets stuck with this life altering ultimatum and the only one able to help is this small town coffee waitress.

Poor guy seems like such a prick at first! I really had quite a few “what the f*ck, dude!” moments. But then I fell in love with him just as Alice did.

Alice… stubborn, hardworking, hard headed. Just what Parker needed even though he didn’t know it when they first formally met. She’s such a good girl. Always trying to do the right thing to help her only living family, her Gram. Working doubles three times a week, and busting her butt at life in general.

I felt so bad for how Parker treated her in the beginning of this story. Hence the multiple “wtf?” moments stated above. But she was strong and stayed true to herself and then realized how much of a puzzle piece Parker was that fit perfectly in her life.

This novel made me feel so much!! I was so angry, sad, happy, heartbroken, and I even fell in love! I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful tale. I highly recommend it. It is available NOW so go grab your copy!!!
